Hi Nicholas! Expreso Uspallata runs buses from Mendoza to Uspallata and stops at Puente del Inca and other places along the way. Look for their office at the Mendoza bus station.
Have fun!
oh yeah, the fares are pretty cheap. Somewhere around $5 US, but these prices are subject to change!
Thank you for this great information Emily, I am sure sometime during my travels I will need to use a bus service like this just because of the convenience and lack of regular transportation on my end :O
Thank you Emily, I am glad I know that these are cheap buses that I plan on taking! I was hoping they weren\'t too expensive, and they\'re not at all :) I plan on using this service more than likely, thank you Emily.

Hi! Puente del Inca is very close to Mendoza, located at just 175 kilometers away. This is the route to get to Río Cuevas, famous because its hot springs with curative powers. There are local buses that run from Mendoza to this bridge, with just a few stops in their way, so the trip is short and pleasant. Here you will have more info for Mendoza and Mendoza hotels , Hoteles en Mendoza
I climbed Aconcagua 2 years ago and I came back to Puente del Inca last year just to enjoy the place in relax. If you want to do it in 1 day it's a full day trip cause the road is not very good. Anyway the trip worth. Here you can find a lot of good and usefol information (not just Mendoza): http://buenosaires.giorgioshouse.com/buenos_aires_acc_000007.htm
have fun
Heading towards Hung King Temple Festival
The Hung King's Temple is located on the Nghia Linh Mountain, Hy Cuong commune, Phong Chau district, Phu Tho province, 85 kilometers northwest of Hanoi.
This year, the festival will be taken place from April 7-12 (5-10th days of the 3rd lunar month).
The event will attract the participation of some provinces including Tuyen Quang, Hoa Binh, Nam Dinh, Quang Ngai and Dong Thap.
The Hung King Festival in 2011 includes two parts: ceremonial activities and festive activities. The ceremonial activities will be held over three days (5, 6 and 10th of the 3rd lunar month).
The main ceremony will be organized on a national level at 7am on April 12 (10th day of the 3rd lunar month) including incense-offering ceremonies to Au Co-Lac Long Quan, the ancestors of the Vietnamese and Hung Kings.
This year, the province invested VND400 billion to improve infrastructure around the temple, such as the lake before the Lac Long Quan Temple, the yard where the important ceremony is held, and the road connecting the main yard with Road 32C and the parking lot.
In addition, Phu Tho Province will also hold a seminar on worshipping the Hung Kings, with the participation of about 40 Vietnamese and foreign scientists.
The seminar is aimed at completing a submission to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) proposing the recognition of the Hung King Festival as a world intangible cultural heritage.
