I\'ve found my home for the next few weeks in the Palermo district of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Palermo House rents private rooms, full apartments, and of course inexpensive dorm rooms. They have great common space, which is key to a good hostel experience. That\'s where you meet cool fellow travelers, share travel tips, and make connections. Few hostels in the world maintain such a pleasant vibe. Highly recommended. See pix for yourself at http://palermohouse.com.ar/

Thank you very much Mike for the information you have provided. It really pays off to learn more from people who have actually gone to Argentina.

I live in Argentina in an apartment in Parque Chacabuco, so I haven\'t stayed at The Palermo House. I have, however visited friends who were staying there. The place is very well run, and impresses as a youth hostel. From my limited experience with the place and its excellent location, I\'d definitely recomend a stay there.
