1º Day Tucumán – Arrival at National airport, Reception and Transfer in Hotel. At noon excursion to San Javier Mountain and Villa Nogués. Departing from S.M de Tucumán we will ride across Yerba Buena neighborhood, visiting El Corte and climbing San Javier mountain. We will see El Mirador and The Redemeer Christ, where we can finde the highest altitude , we continue to Villa Nougues and we are going back to The City of San Miguel del Tucumán.
2º Day Salta - Breakfast. Excursiion to Cafayate. 1660 meters altitude. Departing from S.M. de Tucumán we are going to ride over Route 38 visiting “Sosa Quebrada”, The Indian, The Menhirs Park, Angostura Dock, Tafi del valle, La Banda jesuitic church infiernillo, Quilmes Hills witj its own ruins, and finishing in Cafayate, Here we are going to do a Cityt our and visit its wineries, Lodging in Cafayate.
3º Day Cafayate - Salta – Breakfast. At morning We'll depart towards Salta City, Along the Way we'll admire the strange shapes that nature has sculpted on the hillside of “Quebrada el Río Las Conchas”. Arrival and Transfer in selected Hotel. Lodgement. Optional: Typical dinner show.
4° Day Salta - Breakfast. After that City Tour. Salta is the most best-preserved colonial city located in Argentina. During the trip, We'll appreciate the “Cabildo” (old Town House), The Cathedral, The “San Francisco” church, “San Bernardo” convent, “San Bernardo” Mountain, The University, “Quebrada de Castellanos”, “Lesser”, Sna Lorenzo summer town, and the Handmade Market. We recommend to visit MAAM (High Mountain Anthropological Museum) except ON Monday). Lodgement.
5° day – Salta – Breakfast . Affter that Full Day excursion to Cachi. Departing from Salta by route 68 until El Carril, after that Route 33 climbing by “ Quebrada de Escoipe “ and his bridges and going over “Cuesta del Obispo”. Then we start the descent until “ Los Cardones National Park” where we can find species as “vicuña”,” tarucas” etc. Finally, we will arrive to Payogasta and the magical town of Cachi, where we can see behind The Cachi Mountain with 6.320 meters. Cachi is a tiny pueblo of about 5,000 people, interesting for its Indian ruins, colonial church, and archaeological museum. The Spanish colonial church, built in the 17th century and located next to the main plaza, has a floor and ceiling made from cactus wood. The archaeological museum is the most impressive museum of its kind in the Northwest, capturing the influence of the Incas and Spanish on the region's indigenous people. Back to Salta City. Lodging.
6° day – Salta - Breakfast. Expedition to San Antonio de Los Cobres and Salinas Grandes. We'll travel along National Route 40 finding after one hour and a half “salinas Grandes”, a big salt plain divided between Salta and Jujuy provinces. After that, we'll climb until 4.170 meters and descend by the magnificent “Cuesta del Lipán” to Purmamarca (3200 meters altitude), where We'll appreciate the Seven Colors Mountain. Lodgement.
7° day– Purmamarca – Salta: Breakfast. Excursion to “Quebrada de Humahuaca”, a marvelous inhospitable scenery and cultural site that has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage, located in Jujuy Province. Along the road we'll visit typicals villages as “Tumbaya”, “Tilcara” (with the archeological complex of “Pucará”; “Huacalera” “Uquía” Chapel and “Humahuaca”. Return to Salta. Lodgement.
8° day – Salta - Breakfast. Transfer out
